Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before accessing or using the ChemStruct platform, REST APIs, or client SDKs. By accessing ChemStruct, you agree to be bound by this agreement.

The "Zero Silent Failures" Contract

ChemStruct guarantees deterministic IUPAC, SMILES, and InChI validation. Rather than silently returning invalid or guessed chemical graphs, our algorithms reject ambiguous or chemically invalid structures with explicit diagnostic error objects.

Scope of Service & Authorization

ChemStruct provides software infrastructure, web-based workspaces, and RESTful APIs for programmatic cheminformatics conversion, chemical name parsing, batch processing, and structural validation.

Key Security & Fair Usage

You are strictly responsible for maintaining the secrecy of workspace API keys (sk_live_...).

Key Confidentiality

Do not expose secrets in client-side bundles or public version control.

Rate Limits

Requests exceeding tier limits will receive HTTP 429 status codes.

Customer Molecule Ownership & Platform Rights

You retain complete, unrestricted ownership of all chemical structures, molecular files, and proprietary metadata provided to ChemStruct. ChemStruct gains no license or right to utilize, sell, patent, or synthesize your molecular designs.

Chemical Weapons Convention Compliance

You agree never to use ChemStruct's conversion APIs or batch processors in furtherance of designing, synthesizing, or deploying Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC) Schedule 1 controlled toxins, biological weapons, or prohibited hazardous munitions.
